Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our new video production business, Authentic Medial Media. The hours are flexible, ranging from minimum 10 hours weekly for our primary physician partner and adding time as opportunities with other medical practices and physicians arise. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and possess some basic technical skills in video production and editing. We provide cameras, lights, mics, the works, and the opportunity to learn on the job if you’re unfamiliar with the equipment or the processes in use. We can provide access to Final Cut Pro and other editing tools as well. Your ability to plan videos and capture footage to tell a compelling story is what matters the most. This role involves capturing high-quality footage, conducting patient interviews for stories and testimonials, and producing engaging YouTube and Social Media video content that aligns with the needs of each client. The Videographer will work closely with the physicians and lead videographer to ensure that all video projects meet the highest standards of quality and creativity.
Responsibilities
– Collaborate with physicians and lead videographer to conceptualize and plan video projects.
– Operate cameras and other equipment during shoots to capture high-quality footage.
– Conduct interviews and gather necessary content for various video projects.
– Edit raw footage into polished videos using Final Cut Pro or Davinci Resolve. Access to these and other editing tools can be provided as needed.
– Utilize MotionVFX plugins for Final Cut Pro (access provided)
– Ensure videos are produced according to needs of each physician and outside medical practice, and posted to social media, YouTube, etc. according to their desired schedules. If and when responsibilities are at capacity, we plan to hire additional help and expand accordingly.
– Maintain organized files and archives of all video content produced (storage solution can be provided).
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and video editing.
– Dress appropriate for performing duties alongside physicians and their patients (no strict rules, but will be held to a reasonable standard).
Experience
– Basic proficiency in video production techniques, including filming, lighting, and sound.
– Experience with video/sound editing (Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve, etc.)
– Previous personal or professional experience in videography, editing, etc.
– A portfolio or website showcasing previous work in video production is required.
– Willingness to devote time to learning new skills as required – ex. Final Cut Pro (if unfamiliar), Sound design, Cinematic Lighting, Basic effects, building out appropriate camera setups, etc.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
