About AIP Studios
AIP Studios is a growing recording studio based in North Richland Hills/Fort Worth that offers comprehensive multimedia services, including music recording, video filming, and photography. We’re not just a traditional recording studio—we focus on helping artists and brands expand their reach through high-quality audio and visual content. Whether it’s capturing a music video, recording a podcast, or photographing key moments, AIP Studios provides an all-in-one creative solution.
Job Overview
We are seeking versatile videographers to join our team as contractors. In this role, you’ll be responsible for filming a wide range of content, including music performances, podcasts, promotional videos, and on-location shoots. You will be working both in our studio and on various external locations, ensuring all video content meets our high standards of quality.
Though your primary role will focus on videography, there is potential for additional compensation if you have video editing skills. Our ideal candidate is someone who can handle both studio and on-location shoots and is comfortable collaborating closely with another team member on each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and Record Video Content: Film a wide array of projects, including music performances, podcasts, interviews, and promotional content, ensuring that the final product reflects AIP Studios’ quality and vision.
- Work in Studio and On-Location: Operate video equipment both in our recording studio and in various locations around Fort Worth, Dallas, and the surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with Clients and Team Members: Work with clients to capture their creative vision, providing input when requested. You’ll always be paired with another team member to ensure the best outcome.
- Maintain Equipment Standards: Use studio-provided video equipment or your own gear if it meets our standards. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is used correctly and efficiently on each shoot.
- Lighting and Sound Coordination: Ensure video lighting and sound are properly set up during shoots. You’ll collaborate with our audio engineers when necessary to capture professional-grade content.
- Optional Post-Production Editing: If you have video editing skills, you may also be involved in editing projects, which will offer additional income. Editing is not a requirement, but it’s an added opportunity for those with the skillset.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in videography, particularly in music, podcast, or promotional shoots. Experience in both studio and on-location filming is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of video equipment, lighting, and basic audio principles. Familiarity with video formats, file management, and basic editing tools is helpful.
- Optional Editing Skills: Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is a plus. Those with editing experience may take on additional work for increased compensation.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work as part of a team, particularly in a pair with another videographer or staff member. Strong communication skills are a must.
- Attention to Detail: You must have a good eye for detail and the ability to deliver high-quality footage that aligns with our clients’ and studio’s expectations.
- Availability to Travel: You’ll be expected to work on location in various settings around North Richland Hills, Fort Worth, Dallas, and beyond.
Why Work with AIP Studios?
- Dynamic Creative Projects: Be part of a studio that’s building a brand focused on music, video, and photography.
- Growth Opportunities: As AIP Studios grows, you’ll have the chance to expand your role and focus on specialized content creation.
- Flexible Pay Structure: While this is a contract role, there is the potential for additional income through editing or additional services, depending on your skill set.
How to Apply
Interested candidates should submit a portfolio of previous videography work, along with a resume outlining relevant experience. If you have editing skills, please include examples of edited content.
