Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Videographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in video production and editing, with a passion for storytelling through visual media. This role involves working closely with various departments to create engaging video content that aligns with our brand’s vision and objectives.
Responsibilities
– Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and plan video projects from inception to completion.
– Capture high-quality video footage using professional camera equipment, ensuring proper lighting and sound.
– Edit raw footage into polished videos using Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite, incorporating graphics, music, and effects as needed.
– Conduct post-production tasks including color correction, audio mixing, and finalizing videos for distribution across multiple platforms.
– Utilize photo manipulation techniques to enhance visual content when necessary.
– Assist in art direction for video shoots, ensuring alignment with the overall creative vision.
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and photography to continually enhance skills and output quality.
– Support sales initiatives by creating promotional videos that effectively communicate our products and services.
Requirements
– Proven experience as a Videographer or similar role, showcasing a strong portfolio of work.
– Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite, and post-production techniques.
– Familiarity with photography principles including photo editing skills using Capture One or similar software.
– Strong understanding of storytelling through visual media, with a keen eye for detail and composition.
– Background in journalism or experience in creating content that informs or engages audiences is a plus.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week

Experience:
- Photo editing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Social media management: 1 year (Preferred)
- Social media marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- McLean, VA 22101: Relocate before starting work (Required)
