Job Overview
As a Video Editor at AIP Studios, you will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage captured during various shoots, including music videos, podcasts, promotional videos, and artist performances. You will work in-studio alongside the creative team to ensure that all content is visually engaging, polished, and aligned with the studio’s standards. This is a hands-on role in a professional studio environment, and while the editing will primarily take place at the studio, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and Assemble Video Footage: Work with raw footage captured during studio and on-location shoots, transforming it into a cohesive, high-quality final product.
- Collaborate with Videographers and Creative Team: Communicate effectively with videographers and other team members to ensure the final output aligns with the vision of the client and AIP Studios.
- Enhance Visual and Audio Quality: Apply color grading, sound syncing, transitions, and effects to enhance the overall look and feel of the videos.
- Work in a Studio Environment: You will be required to perform all editing duties at AIP Studios, ensuring consistent collaboration with the team and maintaining access to our professional-grade equipment.
- Client Revisions: Incorporate feedback from clients and make necessary edits to finalize projects based on their input.
- Manage Timelines and Projects: Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all edits are delivered on time and meet the studio’s standards of quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a video editor, particularly in music, podcast, or promotional content.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Familiarity with color grading, transitions, and sound syncing.
- Studio Collaboration: Ability to work on-site in a professional studio environment, collaborating closely with the creative team.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering polished, professional-grade video content.
- File Management and Organization: Strong organizational skills for managing video assets and ensuring smooth workflows.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
