Full job description

This role is designed to assist in both the creative and operational sides of video production at 7th Level Inc. The ideal candidate will support on-site filming, video editing tasks for specific projects, and assistant editing, with the possibility of graphic and motion design. They will work closely with the senior video editor, to ensure seamless collaboration across projects. This position requires someone with both technical video editing skills and the ability to manage production logistics on-site.

Key Responsibilities

On-Site Video Production Support

Assist during filming sessions by managing equipment, setting up shoots, and handling lighting/audio as needed.

Act as a production assistant for larger projects, ensuring smooth logistics and technical support.

Video Editing & Post-Production

Handle assigned video editing projects such as social media content, internal videos, advertisements, and short-form content under the supervision of senior video editor.

Edit raw footage into polished videos that align with the brand’s style and messaging.

Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and basic motion graphics for video projects.

Asset Management

Organize and maintain a comprehensive digital archive of video, audio and photo assets.

Upload, tag, and categorize raw footage and completed projects as specified to ensure easy access and retrieval by the production team.

Ensure all files are properly backed up and stored on company systems.

Cross-Department Collaboration

Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project needs and contribute to video content that supports campaigns.

Participate in team meetings to align video production efforts with broader company goals.

Equipment and Software Maintenance

Assist with the upkeep of video production equipment, ensuring everything is in working order for on-site shoots.

Stay updated on software updates, and troubleshoot any technical issues during production or post-production.

Required Skills and Qualifications

2-4 years of video editing experience.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Familiarity with After Effects as well as the rest of Creative Suite is a plus.

Knowledge of on-site video production, including camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment.

Strong organizational skills with experience in asset management and media workflows.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, with occasional availability during non-traditional hours..

Familiarity with social media video specifications and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
