Cameraman cum Editor

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Cameraman cum Editor who has experience in both filming and editing a variety of content including podcasts, videos, reels, and other social media content. The ideal candidate should be proficient in the latest social media trends and editing techniques, with a strong understanding of lighting, camera setup, and the overall video production process. This role requires a creative and organized professional with a passion for storytelling and the ability to deliver polished, engaging content.

Key Responsibilities:

– Set up cameras, lighting, and sound for video shoots, including podcasts, interviews, reels, and other video content.

– Operate cameras during shoots to capture high-quality footage.

– Edit raw footage into polished final videos, ensuring high standards of production quality.

– Edit for different formats, including long-form videos, short social media reels, and promotional content.

– Incorporate the latest social media trends and techniques into video editing to maximize engagement and reach.

– Apply color correction, sound editing, and visual effects to enhance the quality of the final product.

– Collaborate with the creative team to plan, storyboard, and execute video projects.

– Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and prepared for each shoot.

– Manage and organize video assets efficiently.

Skills & Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a cameraman and video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

– Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

– Knowledge of camera equipment, lighting setups, and audio recording.

– Understanding of the latest trends in social media video content and editing.

– Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

– Strong storytelling and visual composition skills.

– Creativity and attention to detail.

– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience in editing content for social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.

– Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.

– Experience in multi-camera editing and synchronization.

– Familiarity with color grading and sound design.
