Video Editor

Ruckus is a full-service digital agency specializing in web design, app development, branding & interactive marketing.

We are looking for an on-staff Video Editor to join our studio team. This is a full-time role where you will be an integral member of the creative team.

The ideal candidate has both technical editing skills and a passion for creative storytelling. The type of content we produce varies greatly from social media videos to corporate content and commercials. You should be able to follow direction from the director and client, but also be able to creatively problem solve. You must be organized and have strong time management skills in order to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Edit high quality videos quickly and independently
• Manage media and perform backups after shoots
• Maintain organization of current and archived footage
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload
• Collaborate with studio team on projects in post production
• Prepare footage and post assets for freelance editors
• Receive and apply feedback from internal team and client

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Local to the greater Lehigh Valley area (while this job is primarily remote, you must be able to meet with studio team regularly after shoots to manage media)
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in video editing
• Experience creating a variety of content (social videos, corporate videos, commercials, etc)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Positive and solution-based attitude
• Experience with video editing software (specifically Adobe Premiere Pro)
• Ability to edit videos from start to finish including color, graphics, and sound
• Experience with motion applications (After Effects)
• Experience working on a film set a plus
• Experience interfacing with clients a plus

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
