About the Role
HealthLinks (Marketing) is seeking an experienced photographer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a background in photography, with proven skills in portrait, feature, and event photography, as well as the ability to shoot and edit video.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture High-Quality Images: Photograph healthcare providers, patients, facilities, and events to create compelling visual content.
- Portrait Photography: Skillfully capture portraits of healthcare professionals and patients, ensuring each image conveys a story.
- Feature Photography: Produce feature shots that highlight practices, innovations, and human-interest stories in the field.
- Event Photography: Cover events, capturing key moments and creating a visual narrative.
- Photo Editing: Edit, format, and prepare photos for multiple media platforms, ensuring high quality and consistency across all channels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver images that align with our brand’s vision.
- Videography: A secondary skill set in videography, shooting and editing, is preferred.
Required Skills
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years in corporate photography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise.
- Technical Proficiency: Experienced in shooting, editing, and formatting images for various media platforms.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all visuals meet high standards of quality.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to different shooting environments and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with healthcare providers, patients, and team members effectively.

Qualifications
– Proficient in photography, videography, and editing
– Skilled in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere
– Experience in color management and manipulation
– Strong communication skills for collaborating on projects
– Knowledge of filming techniques and post-production processes
– Familiarity with art direction and social media management
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
Experience:
- Editing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Post-production: 1 year (Preferred)
- Filming: 1 year (Preferred)
- Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Charleston, SC 29407
