THE JOB:

The Videographer/Editor creates and develops content for visual storytelling across multiple platforms. This role balances strategic exploration and brand oversight with day-to-day operational execution utilizing video production techniques to produce compelling content for multiple properties and lines of business.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Insight and sound decision-making capabilities in capturing, organizing and executing creative, innovative videos for digital marketing use on various platforms (video, social media, etc.). Execute on best practices specific to marketing channels and execute video concepts accordingly.
  • Develop concepts and storyboards individually or in partnership with writers, directors and editors. Ensure video production captures visual and effective representation on execution.
  • Plan, research and recommend production budget for equipment and software.
  • Manage the scouting of locations and assess possible obstacles in filming, while providing solutions and attainable innovative ideas that are able to meet stakeholder expectations and budgets.
  • Direct video shoots independently as well as in collaboration with creative and marketing teams both locally and regionally. Bring innovation to high-volume videographic workflows, reducing operational cost while improving the quality of imagery produced.
  • Lead collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and Broadcast production teams to meet deadlines and ensure content guidelines are met; demonstrate ability to overcome “artistic differences” on strategic explorations and expectations, providing guidance on industry trends and techniques.
  • Lead a continuous improvement process with production team that evaluates digital media landscapes to identify innovative and new camera/editing design techniques.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of prior relevant experience in video production
