Full job description

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Editor/Videographer to join our dynamic creative agency. This role requires a professional who can handle the fast-paced demands of working with high-profile brands, consistently delivering high-quality content with a creative and technical edge. As a key part of our post-production team, you will collaborate closely with producers, designers, and other creative professionals to bring compelling stories to life through video. The ideal candidate also has a comprehensive knowledge of videography, lighting, and photography, and is able to think creatively while meeting tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with creative teams and clients to edit and produce video content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
  • Film on location and in-studio, setting up cameras, lighting, and sound for a variety of shoots, including interviews, commercials, and branded content.
  • Deliver creative edits with a strong storytelling perspective, integrating feedback swiftly and accurately while maintaining the vision.
  • Work closely with the post-production team to ensure smooth workflows, color correction, sound design, and final delivery.
  • Manage video and photography assets from pre-production through post, including organization, storage, and archiving.
  • Ensure a consistent high standard of quality across all content, adhering to client specifications and industry best practices.
  • Operate camera equipment, set up lighting plots, and manage sound equipment for interviews and VMG Marketing and Sales content.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in videography and editing, preferably in a fast-paced agency or production environment.
  • Experience working with major brands and the ability to adapt creative direction to align with brand standards.
  • Proficient in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and knowledge of post-production workflows.
  • Solid understanding of basic lighting setups, camera operations (Canon, Sony, or similar), and audio equipment for professional shoots.
  • Photography experience is a plus, with an understanding of composition, lighting, and image retouching.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate with various stakeholders and take feedback constructively.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on complex projects with tight turnarounds.

Additional Requirements:
  • A portfolio showcasing your videography and editing work, especially projects involving well-known brands.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics software (After Effects or similar) is a plus.
