Nature & Purpose of Position
The Video Editor is responsible for piecing together raw footage into a finished product. They work with the creative team to ensure that the final video is polished and aligns with the intended vision.
Other Requirements for the Position
- Media Ingestion:
- Responsible for uploading media to online cloud storage systems.
- Transcodes footage into editable formats such as ProRes or Proxies
- Manage media assets and maintain organization of editing projects.
- Media Editing:
- Edit video content for assigned projects, ensuring smooth cuts and transitions.
- Sync sound, apply visual effects, and color correct footage.
- Media Delivery:
- Collaborate with filmmakers and producers to finalize projects.
- Ensure all content meets quality standards and deadlines.
- Cooperates with Graphic Designer for motion graphics or thumbnails for KSHU7 website or YouTube.
