Videographer/Editor

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a talented Videographer/Editor to join our creative team at the 2024 National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit Futurity®. The ideal candidate will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality videos to play during finals productions, and enhance our brand. The dates and location for the position are October 2nd – October 20th in Fort Worth, Texas. Candidate does not need to be local to Fort Worth, Texas. Travel and lodging will be provided.

*Responsibilities*

– Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various projects

– Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts that align with brand objectives

– Operate and maintain video equipment including cameras, lighting, and audio devices

– Ensure all video content meets quality standards and deadlines

– Manage post-production tasks such as editing, color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics

– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in videography and editing

*Qualifications*

– Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro.

– Strong understanding of video production techniques and equipment

– Experience in photography and knowledge of film principles

– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

– Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through video

– Familiarity with Adobe software is a plus

– Experience around and videoing horses is a plus, but not required.

Job Types: Contract, Freelance

Pay: $200.00 – $250.00 per day
