Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Podcast Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video and audio editing, with the ability to make our podcast videos both visually and audibly captivating. In this role, you will be responsible for editing full-length podcast episodes and creating engaging clips for social media.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2+ years of experience in video and audio editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Descript, and Audacity.
• Eager to learn and apply new AI tools in editing processes.
• Strong understanding of storytelling with excellent timing and pacing.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to receive and act on feedback positively.

Responsibilities

• Edit video and audio content for full-length podcast episodes.
• Produce short, engaging clips for distribution on social media platforms.
• Collaborate closely with the podcast team to execute concepts from inception through to completion.
• Maintain the original intent of the projects while enhancing them with your creative input.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines.
• Apply final touches to projects, including color correction and sound design.
• Keep abreast of new editing technologies and best practices within the industry to maximize efficiency.

• Google Suite: Google Drive, Corporate Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive for Desktop

Technical Knowledge & Hard Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
• Strong typing skills with accuracy and speed (minimum 40 WPM)
• Ability to learn and use new data entry software and tools
• Basic understanding of database concepts (a plus)
• Customer Service Experience.
• Professional English level
• Data Entry Software.
• Licensing Administration (desirable)

• Clear and concise communication, editing ideas, explain revisions, and collaborate smoothly with podcast hosts, producers, and other team members.

• File management, using a clear naming system and folder structure to ensure easy access and retrieval of files.
