Full job description
The Videographer & Editor role is responsible capturing, editing, brainstorming and producing high-quality, compelling videos that align with our brand’s voice and strategy. The ideal candidate must be able to work collaboratively with our video and technical teams to produce high quality corporate, product, and technology content for a variety of platforms. The candidate should have a strong understanding of video production, storytelling, and digital marketing trends with a focus on accuracy, ability to meet tight deadlines, and teamwork.
This is a hybrid role, some onsite attendance will be required.

Develop storyboards, scheduling production activity, coordinating set production, conducting research and assuring an overall production schedule is maintained

Schedule shoots, set up and operate cameras, light equipment, wireless microphones and other audio equipment and monitor and adjust equipment during recording sessions

Capture b-roll footage to support various video projects

Edit raw video, select music, design digital video effects, motion and still graphics in order to create a finished product that meets brand standards.

Encode and upload video projects to company websites

Ensure all video content meets brand standards and is delivered on time

Record engaging narrations of DigiKey audio scripts

Maintain an organized archive of video footage, project files, and digital assets.

Take on additional responsibilities from the Lead Video Production Associate or Marketing Production leadership

High School diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Cinema, Video Production, Motion Graphics/Animation, Visual Communications, or similar area of study or 3-4 years equivalent, relevant work experience.

Typically, 1-2+ years of experience in videography, animation, design.

Proficient in Adobe Premier and After Effects.

Experience with Cinema 4D or similar program a plus.

Ability to shoot and edit a variety of videos styles (interview, social media, long and short form digital series).

Demonstrated experience in operating professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices.

Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.

Deadline driven, highly organized and able to work independently.
-
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

No specific systems required.

Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen

Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Capable of standing for long periods of time
