Video Editor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team. We are a small video production studio looking to add an in-house editor to our team. Our focus has been in real estate, home service and start-up space and we create content, modern commercials, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience working with video editing software and a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality content. We complete both short and long form content and work in both 9:16 and 16:9 formats. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing, manipulating, and managing video content for various projects and platforms. The position requires a strong understanding of video editing principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless production.

Duties:

– Edit & Manipulate video content using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, etc.
– Collaborate with producers, directors, and other stakeholders to ensure content meets project requirements.
– Ensure all video content is formatted correctly for various platforms and devices.
– Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure the highest level of quality.
– Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the project’s creative vision.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing.
– Participate in regular team meetings to share ideas and collaborate on future projects.

Experience:

– Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio of work.
– Strong understanding of video editing principles and best practices.
– Experience working with a variety of video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
– Experience managing video content through content management systems.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality content.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
