Position: Part-Time Videographer

Location: Brixton, London (Hybrid)

Contract: Part-time

Salary: Project-based, competitive

ABOUT THE ROLE

Impact Brixton is seeking a talented and creative Videographer to capture, edit, and livestream content for the IB Thrive 2024 programme. In this part-time role, you will document workshops, create engaging video content, and ensure all events are broadcasted smoothly to our online audience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Content Capture: Film all IB Thrive 2024 workshops and events, ensuring high-quality footage that reflects the energy and purpose of the programme.
  • Video Editing: Edit recorded footage into polished videos for promotional use and participant access.
  • Livestreaming: Set up and manage live broadcasts of workshops, ensuring a seamless experience for virtual participants.
  • Content Management: Organise and archive all video content, making it easily accessible for future use.
  • Technical Setup: Coordinate with the Impact Brixton team to set up necessary equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues during filming and livestreaming.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Programme Manager and Social Media Manager to ensure content aligns with overall branding and promotional goals.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in videography, including filming, editing, and livestreaming.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • Strong technical skills, particularly with cameras, audio equipment, and streaming platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a creative approach to storytelling through video.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time role.
  • Experience in a community-focused or creative setting is a plus.
