OPEN CASTING CALL – Scariest Corn Maze in Canada 2024 Haunt Season

We are excited to announce new opportunities to join our haunt team for the 2024 season! With thrilling changes in store, we’re adopting an improv-based performance style focused on scaring our guests while fostering an unforgettable experience for our actors. Over the past 18 years, we’ve built a tight-knit, fun, and energetic community, and we can’t wait to welcome new talent!

WHEN: September 2024 – Nov 3, 2024
Evening shifts (exact dates and times can be found through the link below!)
WHERE: Maan Farms, Abbotsford, BC

ACTORS & SUPPORT POSITIONS:

• Emerging Performer: $18-$23 per hour

Ideal for individuals with foundational acting skills and a passion for learning. Previous experience in film, TV, or theater is an asset.

• Intermediate Artist: $23-$29 per hour

For those with demonstrated potential, versatility, and some professional experience in performance.

• Accomplished Artist: $29-$35 per hour

Highly skilled performers with a proven track record in the industry.

• Veteran Performer: $35-$45 per hour

Seasoned actors with extensive experience across various media formats.

SUPPORT POSITIONS:

• Scare Acting Performance Manager: $25-$35 per hour

Responsible for training, supervising, and supporting actors. Detailed job description available upon request.

• Makeup Artist: (Rate TBD)

Creates realistic and terrifying character looks that enhance the scares.

• Checkpoint/Gatekeeper: $18-$23 per hour

Manages guest entry, ensuring smooth and efficient access to the attractions.

• Supervisor: $18-$23 per hour

Oversees nightly operations, ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and performers.
