Full job description
NWA Media, a multimedia company comprising newspapers, websites, replica apps, OTT/CTV apps, and digital agencies in Northwest Arkansas, the River Valley, and Southwest Missouri, is looking for a skilled and experienced Videographer/Photographer to join its team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with advertising representatives to fulfill the visual content needs of clients and work alongside the editorial staff on various projects and podcasts. This position demands a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and a passion for storytelling through both video and photography.
Key responsibilities include shooting and editing high-quality videos and photos for marketing campaigns and projects, ensuring all content aligns with the client’s brand and message, and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. The role requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom) or DaVinci Resolve and a strong understanding of lighting, composition, and camera equipment. Candidates should possess strong storytelling abilities, an eye for detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills, with the capability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Preferred candidates will hold a degree in Film, Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field and have experience working in an advertising or marketing agency. Familiarity with social media platforms and their video/photo requirements is also advantageous.
