As a Video Editor at Sooner Marketing, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for a variety of platforms, including websites, social media, and digital advertising. You will work closely with our marketing team to ensure that all video content aligns with client objectives and brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of video editing work, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for storytelling through video.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, professional videos that meet client requirements and project goals. This includes cutting and splicing footage, adding transitions, and ensuring smooth continuity.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts and storyboards. Contribute creative ideas to enhance video content and ensure it resonates with the target audience.
  • Audio & Visual Enhancement: Enhance video quality through color correction, audio adjustments, and the addition of special effects, graphics, and animations as needed.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all video content aligns with client branding and guidelines. Maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all video projects.
  • File Management: Organize and manage video files, ensuring that all assets are properly stored and easily accessible for future use. Maintain backups of all video projects.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements for video projects. Make revisions based on client feedback to ensure satisfaction.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines are met and that video content is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques, tools, and trends. Apply new knowledge to improve the quality and creativity of video content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video projects.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, color correction, and sound design.
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to convey messages and emotions effectively through video.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality, error-free content.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and animation is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
