VFX Coordinator

ROLE

The VFX Production Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating projects working closely with the VFX Producer, VFX Supervisor, Post-Production Producer, show Leads and Artists. The ideal candidate has on-set filming experience and can assist with all VFX crew and task requirements when shooting and then follow through into VFX Post-Production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Thorough understanding of Shotgrid (Flow) essential. Ensure production databases (Shotgrid, Flow), Filemaker, Excel) are kept updated daily with tasks, notes, bookings and critical information

● Manage and implement tasks and targets crucial to the delivery of projects on time and on budget

● Organise dailies, reviews, meetings and taking notes. Fast and accurate note taking skills are essential.

● Following up on information shared in dailies to ensure work is undertaken in a timely manner.

● Thorough understanding of on-set shooting practices and VFX department workflows is important.

● Track and help manage workflows from the on-set crew, CG and 2D departments, meeting internal and external deadlines

● Communicate information quickly and succinctly to Production team and crew.

● Anticipate and communicate issues to the Producer and Supervisor to resolve problems quickly.

● Oversee execution of client deliveries, incoming client source data and outsourcing requirements

SKILLS REQUIRED

● Able to multitask and prioritise different tasks and jobs

● Good communicator

● Experience and understanding of current VFX shooting practices and VFX post-production disciplines , software and workflows

● Staying calm under pressure, with tight deadlines are understanding how to read the room in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
