The Farley Group has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to support our growing operation. We have a proud tradition in the sales, manufacturing, installation and servicing of air-supported structures since 1970 and are committed to continuing the development of new products and services to help our customers minimize costs and maximize revenues.The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of a project by means of people, contract, risk management, project preparation and execution. The job incumbent ensures adherence to all internal standards, procedures, systems and local legislation in order to ensure the project is executed and deliverables are met ensuring customer satisfaction.This is a permanent position operating out of our Puslinch Head Office, with travel and site work required. Hybrid remote work will be considered upon completion of training.The duties/responsibilities of this role include:· Contract Management ? assess and have a deep understanding of the contract and critical risk awareness from the beginning to end of the project. Ability to identify and manage contract scope changes while identifying risks and ensuring customer satisfaction.· Project Planning ? prepare the project execution plan while managing both internal and external processes by setting the project steps in line with internal standards. Ensure efficient and effective planning which directs the project through all stages. Ability to assess changes and progress and take corrective action.· Operations ?Coordinate with department managers and direct operations staff in line with the project planning processes and the contract. Ensure timely and efficient service in line with the contract and budget. Ability to manage and control the entire project chain with internal and external resources.· People Management ? Assist, motivate and support both the operational field and office employees with provided project management tools and guidelines. Ensures a project team is set in place to meet deliverables while providing resources required.· Project Control ? Monitor all project related financial processes and take action to identify potential risk areas in line with financial and risk management guidelines. Ability to assess expenses and estimates, manage budget versus actual cost, initiate, coordinate and track financial processes.· Health, Safety and Quality ? Ensure operational execution is in compliance with Health and Safety and Quality standards. Create, implement and manage site specific safety plans, job specific risk analysis and other contractually required Health and Safety or Quality documentation.· Reports ? Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by scheduled and ad-hoc reports and analysis against contract requirements. Ensure the Management team is kept informed of critical project information.· Quality- Ensure all customer documents, BOM and special drawings or customer specs are being checked for and being followed.· Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure that the Three-Phase Process is integrated into project schedules· Ensure and verify implementation and documentation of corrective actions· Comply with CPI (Continuous process improvement) procedures, including all safety and ISO 9000 requirements.· Health and Safety- Maintain consistent and documented compliance with all relevant Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE), quality and best practice requirements.· Handle NCR?s and corrective action paperwork, ISO manual· Other duties as requiredThe successful candidate will have:· 3 ? 5 years? experience managing projects in the air supported structures industry or construction industry.· Post-secondary education in a technical discipline.· Knowledge of US market and standards is an asset· Excellent attention to detail.· Advanced organizational, written and oral communication skills.· Excellent interpersonal skills with
