Wave Collective is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Creative team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Creative, Social, and PR teams to execute photo, short-form video content and social media strategy that supports our clients’ objectives. This position is optimal for someone who is interested in working in a collaborative environment, enjoys working in the lifestyle and hospitality industries and has a passion for storytelling and Digital Marketing.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Execute photo and short-form video shoots as needed to support client scope
  • Work collaboratively with the Creative, Social and PR teams
  • Support in the execution and development of the agency’s clients’ social media strategies through visual storytelling across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and any other relevant social media platforms
  • Assist in Creative brainstorming and Social strategy for clients
  • Maintain, manage and inventory photography and video equipment
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of pre- and post-production techniques for both photo and video
  • Edit footage and photos per industry standards in a timely manner
  • Manage and catalog client videos and photos on Wave Collective’s Google Drive and Wave’s Pixieset per company standard
  • Distribute video and photo content to the proper teams and channels
  • Participate in client communication to ensure efficient and professional execution of photo and video shoots
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s brand in order to accurately visually represent the client via photo and video
  • Support the Social team with shotlist creation, conceptualization and execution
  • Open to local travel, including some evenings and weekends as needed for events, to capture social media content on-site at client establishments

SKILL SET

  • Significant experience working in a creative environment
  • Excellent and proven range of photographic, videography and post production skills
  • Competent with natural light, off camera strobe and on camera flash photography
  • Creative thinking with an excellent attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong visual storytelling ability
  • Ability to multitask with various teams on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self starter willing to take initiative
  • Ability to assess and execute creative guidelines for specific brands
  • Boston-based
  • Avid user of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
  • Well-organized, able to work within deadlines
  • Knowledge of adding audio, music, computer graphics, closed captioning and special effects to footage as needed
  • Proficiency with photo and video editing software (Adobe Suite, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, Movie Maker, and Final Cut etc.)
