Role overview

As our photo and videographer, you will plan, organize, produce, and edit video and still content for our website and social media platforms, and photograph all products, exactly matching our current style.

You’ll collaborate closely with the marketing team on content requirements and creative direction, assembling all elements needed for each video, including scripts, people, and props. You’ll need to be organised and able to align your workload with the moving parts that form each campaign/project, communicating with the team on any requirements or changes so deadlines are met.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential to organise shoots and to get the best out of people on camera, along with a solid understanding of brand identity. Additionally, you must be able to effectively manage your workload (alongside dealing with ad hoc requests) to meet project deadlines.

  • Excellent at story telling through video and creating emotional connections with the audience.
  • Develop a great understanding of the audience persona, their needs and subsequently the key messaging required.
  • Great organizer and planner, proactively organising people and resources required for shoots.
  • Able to meet deadlines through a great work ethic and productivity.
  • Able to work within a team and organise people and products when required for shoots.
  • Able to organise and prep content, including any scripts and props.
  • Open to new ideas and a creative problem-solver.

Experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience using a Nikon camera (we have a Nikon D850).
  • Experience with producing video content on interior fittings/furniture products.
  • Experience working in the interior designer’s world.
  • Experience photographing luxury products.
  • Able to create renders / CGIs.

Essential:

  • Full understanding of and 5+ years’ experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Understanding of the importance of brand identity.
  • Experience in the high-end / luxury brand market.
  • Experience creating content for social media (YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn).

Video content

Each involves creating full-length videos alongside shorts optimised for social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn.

  • Project proposal videos.
  • On-site case study videos (including interviews).
  • FAQ videos (Your Questions, Answered series).
  • Product launch videos (communicating USPs and/or the journey to realisation).
  • Main Joseph Giles USP videos (With Joseph Giles series).
  • Weekly social behind-the-scenes updates.
  • Careers video/s.
  • Training academy videos.

Photography

  • Product photography for the website that exactly matches our current style.
  • Case study and in-situ shots.
  • Team photos.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year
