Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Expertise in Video Editing: Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and CapCut.
- Platform Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram, with an understanding of what content performs well and how to tell stories that resonate with audiences.
- Creative Vision: A strong ability to conceptualize and craft original visual stories that engage viewers across various social media platforms.
- Portfolio of Success: A demonstrated ability to produce high-quality content, with a portfolio showcasing your best work.
- Adaptability & Speed: Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Positive and Collaborative: A positive attitude, with the ability to work closely with teams and adapt to feedback quickly.
- Local Availability: Role located in Orange County, California and requires occasional filming on location.
Responsibilities:
As a Video Editor & Visual Storyteller, you will:
- Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute video content strategies that align with our brand’s objectives.
- Create Engaging Stories: Edit and produce both long-form and short-form video content tailored for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other social platforms, focusing on storytelling that connects with the audience.
- Innovate & Experiment: Generate and pitch creative ideas that push the boundaries of traditional content, with a focus on visual storytelling.
- Create Ads: Develop ads across Google, Meta, Linkedin and TikTok
- Optimize for Engagement: Apply advanced techniques in video editing, sound, and music design to enhance the narrative and emotional impact of the content.
- Deliver High-Quality Content: Ensure all video content is of the highest quality, aligns with brand standards, and is delivered on time.
- Track Trends: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and platform algorithms to continuously improve content performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and analyze content performance metrics to refine strategies and optimize future videos.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
