- Edit audio tracks: Work with dialogue, music, sound effects, and ambient noise to achieve optimal clarity, balance, and synchronisation with the video. Use audio mixing tools to adjust levels, remove background noise, and add effects as needed.
- Incorporate effects: Add transitions, visual effects, motion graphics, and titles to enhance the overall impact and professionalism of the videos. Experiment with different effects and techniques to add visual interest and reinforce key messages.
- Collaborate: Work with directors, producers, and other team members to develop storyboards and editing plans that effectively convey the intended narrative, tone, and emotion. Ensure that the editing enhances the storytelling and evokes the desired audience response.
- Organise project files: Manage assets and media libraries systematically to facilitate efficient workflow and easy access to resources. Maintain version control and backup procedures to safeguard against data loss or corruption.
- Incorporate feedback: Collaborate closely with directors, cinematographers, producers, and other stakeholders to incorporate feedback, revisions, and changes throughout the editing process. Communicate effectively and professionally to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Stay updated: Keep up with the latest video editing software, tools, plugins, and techniques to maintain proficiency and efficiency in editing workflows. Troubleshoot technical issues and optimise settings for optimal performance and output quality.
- Quality checks: Conduct thorough reviews of edited videos to identify and address any errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies in content, visuals, or audio. Ensure that the final deliverables meet or exceed the expected standards of quality and professionalism.
- Manage multiple projects: Handle several projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines, priorities, and client expectations. Plan and prioritise tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery of edited videos without compromising quality or accuracy.
Requirements:
