Studio Tech – New York

Be Electric Studios is a soundstage and lighting/grip equipment rental company with 10 soundstages located in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We provide shooting space & equipment to film, TV and commercial productions, and work with all the top production companies, agencies, brands and talent in NYC, LA and beyond.

We are seeking evening studio technician. The chosen candidates will be working directly under our Evening Floor Manager. The chosen candidates will be working to ensure that the studios and equipment are functional and well-maintained & as well as filling our client’s equipment orders.

We are looking for candidates with strong interest/experience in lighting/grip/film/photography equipment.

Job requirements:

• Willing to work weekends and nights (4:30PM – 1:00AM or later)
• Valid drivers license is a MUST. Experience driving box trucks & sprinter vans is a plus.
• Highly motivated, strong ability to multi-task and be able to flourish in stressful situations
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and keep to a tight logistic schedule
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Compensation starts at $16-18 per hour depending on experience.
