Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced High School Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects to high school students, while also utilizing their skills in digital media to enhance the learning experience. This role requires a strong passion for education, a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and the ability to inspire and motivate students. The successful candidate will have a background in film, videography, or related fields, with a proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and its various applications.

Duties

– Teach a variety of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, and social studies, to high school students.
– Develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate digital media, including video editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques.
– Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and other relevant software, to create interactive and immersive learning experiences.
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies that align with school goals and standards.
– Provide individualized support to students to help them meet their academic and personal goals.
– Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and digital media.
– Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Experience

– A bachelor’s degree in education, film, videography, or a related field.
– Teaching experience at the high school level, preferably with experience in digital media and creative technologies.
– Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and its various applications, including Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator.
– Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and post-production techniques.
– Excellent communication and organizational skills.
– A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– The ability to inspire and motivate students, as well as build strong relationships with colleagues and parents.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
