Focal Point is looking for a Part Time quality-driven and customer-centric Real Estate Photographer/Videographer to take photos and videos of our clients’ properties.

Here’s the impact you’ll make:

Working primarily at client locations, you will be the face of Focal Point when dealing with our clients and their homeowners. You will be responsible for providing exceptional, friendly customer service while maintaining high standards of excellence in the work you produce with minimal onsite supervision.

As a Real Estate Photographer/Videographer, your day will consist of traveling to client locations, taking photographs and video using a DSLR camera, piloting a drone to take additional aerial photo/video, uploading files to our editing service, doing basic Adobe Creative Suite work and communicating with clients a regarding special requests and future bookings.

Here’s how you’ll do that:

  • Take photography & videography of all interior and exterior areas,
  • Prepare and upload files to our editing service or partner contractors,
  • Communicate with clients regarding updates to their files,
  • Book, change, or cancel client appointments,
  • Create and edit Realtor branding using Adobe Creative Suite,
  • Provide feedback, suggestions on business processes and offerings,
  • Contribute to the business’s success by accomplishing other tasks as needed.

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle if you have:

  • 2+ years’ experience with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras in manual mode,
  • 2+ years’ experience taking video using a DSLR/Mirrorless camera,
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license,
  • Full time access to a reliable vehicle,
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is a significant asset
  • Excellent oral and written English communications skills, including through digital platforms,
  • Excellent computer skills, including Gmail and other google productivity products,
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills,
  • High level of attention to details,
  • The ability to work independently with minimal oversight,
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines,
  • The ability to climb stairs, stand and move for long periods, crouch and maneuver into crawl spaces,
  • High-speed internet access,
  • Successfully able to complete a pre-employment Criminal Record Check & Drivers
  • Abstract Check.

Compensation:

$26/hour

Schedule:

This position will begin as a part time position; you will provide your available hours, and the office manager will schedule shifts according to client demand. The Real Estate market is a highly variable market and work hours will fluctuate with demand throughout the year. This role may be an excellent position for someone who has considerable availability but wants to have a flexible working arrangement and is comfortable with high levels of variability on the number of hours worked.

Note: This position is not a remote position and all prospective applicates must live within the Greater Vancouver Area.
