Hours: Fridays and Saturdays only in October 6pm-12am, Plus Halloween 6pm-10pm

Job Overview

We are seeking talented and experienced Actresses and Actors to join our team in the biggest and scariest indoor haunted attraction in the Carolinas. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in the performing arts and be able to bring characters to life through engaging performances. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including interacting with audiences and working with other actors, directors, and production staff.

We are looking for a Beetlejuice character as well as others!

Responsibilities

– Perform as a character in theatrical productions, utilizing effective public speaking skills to convey emotions and bring the character to life.
– Develop and rehearse roles in collaboration with directors and other actors.
– Engage in improvisation and other interactive performances, demonstrating strong communication skills.
– Collaborate with other actors, directors, and production staff to deliver high-quality performances.
– Participate in educational workshops and events, using the opportunity to educate children and adults about the theater and its importance in the community.
– Demonstrate an understanding of dance and movement techniques and apply them to roles as necessary.
– Be prepared to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

– Experience in the performing arts, particularly in theatrical productions.
– Strong public speaking skills and the ability to convey emotions through performance.
– Experience educating children and/or adults.
– Proficiency in dance and movement techniques.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Experience working in a team environment.
– A passion for the theater and a commitment to delivering high-quality performances.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal, Internship

Pay: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
