Job description
As an Esports Videographer, you will be responsible for filming and editing video content that highlights the excitement and energy of our esports events. This role requires a strong eye for detail, a passion for gaming, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments to produce high-quality video content that engages our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Coverage: Film esports events, including tournaments, live streams, and player interviews, capturing high-quality footage that showcases the excitement and intensity of the competitions.
- Video Production: Edit and produce polished video content from raw footage, including highlight reels, promotional videos, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Content Creation: Work with the creative team to develop video concepts and ensure content aligns with our brand and marketing objectives.
- Equipment Management: Set up, operate, and maintain video and audio equipment, ensuring optimal performance and quality during shoots.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with event organizers, producers, and other team members to plan and execute video coverage strategies and meet project goals.
- Post-Production: Handle all aspects of post-production, including video editing, color correction, sound mixing, and adding graphics or effects as needed.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current with video production trends and techniques to continually improve the quality and impact of your work.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a videographer, with a portfolio showcasing your work in esports, gaming, or similar fast-paced environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video recording and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve), with a strong understanding of video production techniques.
- Creativity: A keen eye for detail and creativity in capturing and editing footage to produce engaging and visually compelling content.
- Passion for Esports: Genuine interest in esports and gaming, with an understanding of the competitive gaming scene and its nuances.
- Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with various video and audio equipment, including cameras, microphones, and lighting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team and adapt to different shooting environments.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to cover live events and adhere to production schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Live Event Experience: Previous experience covering live esports events or other live broadcasts.
- Graphic Design Skills: Basic knowledge of graphic design tools for creating overlays or visual elements for video content.
- Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Pennsylvania esports scene and local gaming communities.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Internship
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

- 25% (Preferred)
Work Location: On the road
