As we grow our company, we will continue to remove barriers and create new opportunities within our industry.Reporting to the *Manager, Construction Operations*, the *Project Manager* is a leader in the field who is responsible for keeping job sites safe and making sure our work is top quality. You will manage your team to ensure quality, safety, and timeliness.*Responsibilities:** Provide project support and coordination for our Construction team to help ensure projects are executed on time and within budget.* Create project execution plans.* Reinforce company policies and ensure safe and productive completion of the work.* Manage multiple construction sites in relation to cost, schedule, and safety.* Maintain communication on costs and schedule results with the Construction Manager.* Maintain accurate project tracking and data entry.* Create and update project schedules.* Provide cost estimates and cost control for all construction services, including project invoicing.* Support quality management program throughout the project lifecycle.* Summarize and evaluate project financial outcomes at completion.* Successfully deal with a wide variety of stakeholder issues.* Ensure customer communication to ensure needs and expectations are met.* Ensure completion of detailed project field documentation, reports, and job closing documents.* Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity.* Other duties as assigned.*Qualifications:** Planning skills in project completion, resource requirements, and project documentation.* Strong knowledge of powerline construction, shallow utility construction, civil utility construction, blueprint reading, and understanding of specification requirements.* Ability to lead and work within a team environment.* Promotion of safe work practices.* Strong communication skills both verbal and written.* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft applications.*A few qualifications that would help you succeed:** Minimum 2 years of post-secondary education.* Highly organized and proven ability to lead a team.* Strong collaborative skills and willingness to liaise with other disciplines (Engineering, Construction, and other subcontractors) to ensure drawings are spatially accurate, standards-compliant, and reliable.* Work Independently or as a team member.* Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.* Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to autonomously manage workload to control multiple tasks with a very high degree of accuracy, while meeting project deadlines.* Strong English language skills (verbal and written), ability to develop strong business relationships and act in a professional manner.* A passion for your work and a drive for excellence.* Valid Class 5 driver?s license and Driver?s abstract in good standing.*This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to Primary?s Alcohol and Drug Policy which includes pre-employment testing.*Primary offers a highly competitive compensation package including, competitive salaries, bonuses, Health & Dental benefits, Health Care Spending Account, flexible work
