Production Assistant Intern

MCQUEEN FILMS is an award-winning film production company based in Zürich, specialising in the development and production of commercials, short films and documentaries for Swiss and global clients. We work closely with advertising agencies and clients to bring ambitious ideas to life and create impactful content. With all creative services housed under one roof, we ensure efficient, end-to-end production, and are known for our creative, sustainable, and socially responsible approach.

We are passionate professionals and we are looking to expand our team with an equally passionate PRODUCTION ASSISTANT.

Your tasks:

– Work closely with producers and artists to ensure the best production experience possible

– Manage and assist all aspects of shoot production (i.e., shoot planning, casting, location scouting, optioning crew, booking EQ, coordinating travel, scheduling, on-set production and post-production)

– Find effective budget solutions and negotiate rates with suppliers

– Track deadlines and ensure they are met, from pre-production through to post-production

– Work with internal and external production teams collaboratively and professionally

– Creating content and managing our social media channels

– Establish, develop and maintain good relationships with vendors, suppliers and production partners

– Research work and building relationships with artists

– Maintain production kits, keeping them stocked and organized

– General back office tasks

What we expect:

– Passion and enthusiasm for film and advertising (previous experience preferred)

– A positive attitude and a genuine interest to learn

– Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to proactively anticipate needs and run with any task

– Highly organised, with great attention to detail and a meticulous mindset

– An independent, structured and reliable way of working that also works well in stressful situations

– Driving license (required)
