Full job description
We are seeking a motivated and creative Video Editor / Social Media Content Creator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with some experience in video editing, who can take direction and is eager to grow their skills. You will work closely with a seasoned video editor to help cut down YouTube videos, create engaging shorts for social media, and ensure our content aligns with our brand and vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and refine video content for YouTube, focusing on creating concise, high-quality videos.
- Create engaging long form and short-form video content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Collaborate with the lead video editor to ensure content meets quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Organize and manage video assets, ensuring efficient workflow and file storage.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices for video content.
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in video editing (portfolio or examples of previous work preferred).
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve or similar tools).
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation best practices.
- Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with the lead editor.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work in-house 5 days a week, 40 hours a week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with motion graphics or animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
- Knowledge of color grading and sound editing is a bonus.
- Passion for creative content creation and staying ahead of digital trends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
