About the role – DFYNE Your Career
Firstly, let me introduce myself (person behind the keyboard here), it’s not the norm on a job role spec, however, I feel it’s important you get introduced to who you may be working with for a long time early on. I’m Oscar, the CEO & Founder here at DFYNE, I’m looking for someone who’s going to help me make sure we’re capturing and producing the highest quality imagery possible for our amazing brand!
Frankly, it’s a challenge, often we’re up against the clock, and have tight deadlines (Who doesn’t?). But if you’re the kind of person that loves going home every day knowing that you’ve created something amazing, and you’re passionate about creating high quality imagery that tells a story then you’ll do well here!

Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, shoot, and edit video content for a variety of purposes, including marketing campaigns, social media, product demonstrations, events, and internal communications.
· Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience to ensure the produced videos meet their needs.
· Operate video equipment such as cameras, lighting, microphones, and other accessories to capture high-quality footage.
· Select appropriate locations, sets, and props for video shoots, ensuring that they align with the project brief and desired aesthetic.
· Conduct interviews and direct on-screen talent to capture authentic performances that resonate with the audience.
· Edit and assemble raw footage, ensuring seamless transitions, proper pacing, and visual coherence.
· Enhance videos with graphics, animations, sound effects, and music to enhance storytelling and engagement.
· Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in videography, video editing software, and equipment to continuously improve the quality of our video content.
· Manage video files, organize assets, and maintain an efficient workflow to meet project deadlines.
· Collaborate with other creative professionals to ensure cohesive visual storytelling across all platforms.
· Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in style, tone, and messaging across all video content.
· Conduct post-production tasks such as colour correction, audio mixing, and finalizing video exports in various formats suitable for different distribution channels.
· Monitor and analyse the performance of video content, gathering feedback and insights to inform future productions and optimizations.
· Assist with photography or other multimedia projects as needed.
Experience Needed:
· Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your videography and video editing skills.
· Proficiency in operating professional video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices.
· Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
· Solid understanding of cinematography principles, composition, and visual storytelling techniques.
· Strong creative vision and ability to translate concepts into compelling visual narratives.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
· Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and feedback.
· Knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is a plus.
