Job Overview

Borboleta Beauty is seeking a talented and creative Videographer to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and executing video shoots, from initial concept through final edit, to create high-quality content that aligns with our brand vision. You will work closely with our CMO and founder to produce engaging ad videos, social media content, and other video projects that showcase our products and resonate with our audience. You will also collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Social Media team.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizing Shoots: Coordinate and manage all aspects of video shoots, including scheduling, finding models, and securing necessary equipment.
• Shooting Videos: Capture high-quality video footage that reflects the Borboleta Beauty brand, ensuring all technical aspects such as lighting, framing, and sound are on point.
• Storyboarding: Develop and present video concepts through detailed storyboards, ensuring clear communication of the vision for each project.
• Creating Shot Lists: Plan and organize shot lists to ensure all necessary content is captured efficiently during shoots.
• Video Editing: Edit raw footage and audio into polished, professional-quality videos that meet the needs of various campaigns, from ad spots to social media clips.
• Ad Video Production: Create and edit compelling ad videos that drive engagement and conversions across digital platforms.
• Social Media Content: Develop and edit video content tailored for social media channels, ensuring it’s optimized for each platform and audience.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to align video content with brand goals and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree preferred.
• 3-4 years of experience as a videographer preferably in the beauty or fashion industry.
• Strong organizational skills with experience in planning and executing video shoots.
• Proficient in video production including all aspects (i.e. camera, lighting, audio etc.)
• Proficient in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere.
• Experience with project management tools, especially Asana, is a plus.
• Ability to storyboard and create detailed shot lists.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and the types of content that perform well.
• Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Positive, collaborative, hands-on, and energetic attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
