Job Summary: Join our team as a Spookah Actor to become an integral part of our spine-chilling Halloween experience. As a Spookah Actor, you’ll bring our haunted houses and spooky attractions to life, creating unforgettable thrills for our guests.

Job Responsibilities:

• Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts and allow ample time to dress in costume and makeup.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude towards coworkers and guests, even while in character.
• Fully embody your assigned character or role, ensuring a convincing and immersive experience for guests.
• Abstain from using profanity or engaging in promiscuous content while on duty.
• Handle any accidents or incidents by immediately notifying your supervisor and refraining from discussing them with the public.
• Keep your work area clean and perform any other duties as assigned.

• All Halloween costumes are provided by Lake Winnepesaukah with the exception of tights, socks, shoes and undergarments.
• Any costumes that are not provided by Lake Winnepesaukah MUST be approved by Mark Hannah, Creative Director.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

• While a high school diploma or GED is desired, previous experience performing in front of groups is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and the ability to work independently.
• Possess good communication skills and an outgoing, energetic personality.

Physical:

• Be prepared for physical activity, including lifting up to 25 lbs. and enduring frequent bending, twisting, and stretching.
• Stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces, including uneven terrain.
• Embrace the flexibility of varying work hours, including potential 6 hour shifts, and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Safety:

• Prioritize safety by adhering to company, state, and federal regulations at all times.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed to ensure a safe working environment.
