Video Editor for Massage Instructional Videos
Our company is creating educational instructional videos related to massage training. Our goal is to offer well-made and informative tutorials. We have alot of videos to edit.
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and creative Video Editors to join our team and be an integral part of creating engaging and informative massage instructional videos. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in turning raw footage into polished, professional, and visually appealing videos that will enhance the learning experience for our audience.
The ideal candidate will have artistic and creative abilities along with a broad range of video editing skills, and be able to do graphics and animation as well.
This is a great job for film students or graduates who want to build up their portfolio.
We have alot of videos to edit, from talking head videos to instructional videos, so we would like also to hire video editors who have ample time to work, and not delay the editing process.
Responsibilities:
- Review and organize raw video footage, identifying the best takes and shots to be used in the final videos.
- Edit and assemble video content, ensuring a smooth and cohesive flow while maintaining the integrity of the massage techniques being demonstrated.
- Enhance video and audio quality to achieve a professional standard.
- Add visual elements, such as graphics, texts, and animations, transitions to enhance understanding and engagement.
- Collaborate with the massage instructor to understand the intended message and educational goals of each video.
- Ensure videos are optimized for various platforms and devices, maintaining a consistent look and feel across all formats.
- Keep files organized and named in systematic order
- Will be required to assist with video shoots, and other tasks as required
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor, with experience creating clean and professional educational or instructional videos
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video composition, pacing, and storytelling to create engaging content.
- Solid knowledge of color correction, audio mixing, and video compression for online platforms.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain a consistent style and tone throughout multiple videos.
- Attention to spatial order and alignment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently while adhering to project deadlines.
- Able to work in our home-based office in Kerrisdale and in our studio located in Chinatown.
- Have own portable computer and software.

Also as part of our interview process, you will be asked to provide a few minutes of sample edit using raw footages which we will provide.
Only those candidates who provide us with the information we’ve requested, along with an edited sample video with the raw footages we’ve given, will be considered for the position.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
