PART-TIME
Hourly Rate: $21.00/hour

VIDEOGRAPHER/PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Primary duties involve the general operations of the Town television channel. Duties include, but are not limited to, preproduction, production and post-production of programs, maintenance of all E-TV equipment.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general direction and supervision of the E-TV Station Manager or his/her designee, who issues instructions and spot checks work, but has some latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and initiative.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Knowledge of set up and use of all E-TV audio, video, and editing equipment. Maintains equipment and supplies involved in preproduction, production and postproduction of programs, Regular and punctual attendance.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Performs all other related duties as required.

Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate audio/visual equipment, computers and various office equipment. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Employee performs a variety of tasks from simple to complex following instructions provided. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet to moderately noisy.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
Hands on knowledge to proficiency in use of professional and prosumer level video, audio, and editing equipment with the ability to produce broadcast level programming. Working knowledge of field and studio production including lighting, microphone placement, audio mixing, camera builds and general production work. Ability to understand Director’s instructions for camera movement during live event production including camera switching and movement of robotic cameras from remote locations.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Ability to deal with associates and the public in a courteous manner; ability to make simple and complex decisions to meet controlling conditions; neat personal appearance; must be able to work collaboratively within your environment.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some level of hands-on experience in video production needed. Field or studio video production experience is essential. Associates Degree or higher in video production preferred.
