Are you ready to make magic happen? Join our team at SEA LIFE Blackpool and the Gruffalo and Friends Clubhouse, where we create unforgettable experiences for visitors of all ages. As an Actor, you will play a crucial role in bringing our attractions to life, delivering high-energy performances, and ensuring our guests have a safe and enjoyable visit.

Actors will have a mixture of roles to play, including face and costume character work. This may include playing the witch from room on the broom at Gruffalo or one of our SEA LIFE entertainers that can bring conservation, education and fun facts to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• High-Energy Performances: Deliver engaging shows featuring the Gruffalo or other seasonal characters.
• Interactive Storytelling: Capture the imagination of our younger guests with captivating story times.
• Safety First: Conduct host checks to ensure a safe environment for all visitors

These are seasonal, fixed term positions. Start dates are either September for Halloween contracts or October for Christmas contracts. Shifts can include weekends, bank holidays and peak holiday seasons. For this reason, we advise that you aren’t involved in any other performing contracts whilst working for us.

Qualifications & Experience:

• To be outstanding at performing scripts and character acting
• A lively personality with the ability to engage and entertain a diverse audience
• Plenty of stamina
• A real flair for improvisation
• A commitment to making every guest’s visit magical and memorable
• Costume character experience preferred
