Job Summary:

As a Haunted House Actor in Rage 3D, you will be an essential part of creating a spine-chilling and entertaining experience for our visitors. The haunted house is designed to evoke fear and excitement through a combination of clown-themed elements, loud rave music, flashing lights, and vivid colors. You will be responsible for embodying a variety of clown characters and engaging with guests to intensify their adrenaline-pumping experience.

Responsibilities:

Character Portrayal:

• Embody assigned clown characters and personas with enthusiasm and dedication.
• Adhere to predefined scripts and improvisational guidelines to engage and scare visitors.

Interactive Performance:

• Interact with visitors in a frightening yet entertaining manner, maintaining a safe and controlled environment.
• Utilize clown makeup or full-body morph suits to enhance the eerie ambiance and elicit reactions from visitors.

Movement and Mobility:

• Navigate through designated areas of the haunted house while maintaining an element of surprise and fear.

Scare Techniques:

• Employ a variety of scare tactics and techniques to startle and thrill guests, including sudden movements, loud noises, and strategic appearances.

Safety and Guest Experience:

• Prioritize the safety and well-being of visitors by adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in crowd control and ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with fellow haunted house actors, makeup artists, and other team members to enhance the overall frightful atmosphere.

Costume and Makeup:

• Wear clown makeup or a provided full-body morph suit as directed by the makeup team.
• Maintain the costume and makeup throughout the shift to ensure a consistent and menacing appearance.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous acting experience, especially in a haunted house or scare attraction, is a plus.
• Comfortable with loud music, flashing lights, and high-energy environments.
• Ability to stay in character for extended periods and maintain high levels of energy.
• Strong improvisational skills and the ability to adapt to varying visitor reactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the haunted house season.
