The Department of the Senate is seeking applications from those interested in joining the Senate Public Information Office in the role of Video Editor. This position is located at Australian Parliament House in Canberra.

The Video Editor supports the development of the department’s public information and parliamentary education programs and operates in a strategic environment that brings together information, creativity and technology.

The occupant of this position provides technical expertise and advice on video production and editing and uses their creativity and experience to deliver a variety of video products in accordance with timelines under general direction. The Video Editor may also be involved in producing a number of publications specific to sittings of the Senate, including the Dynamic Red, Senate Daily Summary, StatsNet and others.

To apply, you are asked to provide a one-page pitch and a showreel of no more than five minutes in length, that demonstrates your skills, experience and suitability to perform the duties of the position. If shortlisted, you will be asked to discuss your showreel at interview. You are also asked to provide a copy of your CV or résumé.
