Role Overview
Champions is on the lookout for a dynamic Video Editor with a flair for creativity and innovation. This role is pivotal in enhancing our brand’s image and advancing our mission. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our production and IT teams to produce captivating video content that resonates with our target audience. From pre-production to post-production, the Video Editor will be instrumental in crafting compelling stories through the art of video editing.

You Will

  • Collaborate closely with production and IT team to meet goals, understand target audience, and create engaging video content
  • Provide a creative edge to projects, giving them a sense of style and feeling
  • Drive projects from pre-production through post including shoots, video editing, color grading, and sound mixing to produce quality video content
  • Troubleshoot technical issues as needed
  • Edit sizzle and assemble raw footage into visually appealing videos that align with Champions Club brand guidelines
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and timelines, balancing quality and speed in video production
  • Elevate video quality by implementing visual effects, transitions, graphics, and audio enhancements
  • Knowledgeable in the latest technology trends and advancements in video editing software and tools
  • Prepare and maintain video database of cataloged assets
  • Ensure videos have correct tags, titles, and descriptions that adhere to rules and guidelines
  • Work independently, demonstrating the ability to think creatively and act decisively in a fast-paced and competitive environment
  • Superior project management, organizational, prioritization, and follow-up skills
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support efficient department operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Film Production, Graphic Design or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing or video production Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills Creative decision-making, problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Expert knowledge of the process of taking a video from concept to completion
  • Basic Poker knowledge preferred
  • Must be willing to work varying shifts (including nights, holiday and weekends) when necessary
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to work under deadline pressure
