About Us:
Mirar Weddings, part of Mirar Media Group, is expanding its network of freelance wedding videographers. We specialize in providing luxury wedding cinematography services for high-end wedding clients in Chicago and surrounding areas.

Job Description:
We’re seeking skilled freelance wedding videographers to join our team and contribute to our portfolio of stunning wedding films. Capture cinematic documentary-style footage of weddings.

Requirements:

• Experience as a wedding videographer with a portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Proficiency with professional-grade video equipment.
• Ability to capture key moments, emotions, and details that tell the story of each couple’s special day.
• Experience capturing audio such as toasts, vows, etc
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Capacity to work under pressure and problem solve under short notice

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with other videographers to ensure consistency in camera settings and overall visual style.
• Creatively capture detail shots and photo sessions in a photojournalistic style
• Capture clear, crisp audio of key moments such as toasts, vows, and other important speeches or interactions.
• Hand off footage promptly at the end of the event, ensuring all captured content is properly labeled and organized for post-production.
• Understand the couple’s vision and preferences, and adapt your approach accordingly.
• Remain flexible and responsive to changing circumstances during events, adjusting gear and filming techniques as needed to capture the best possible shot.

Pay: $75.00 – $125.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 12 per week
