Videographer

Mayvin is seeking a Videographer who will independently review recorded footage for the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and catalog those recordings with the Video Retention Solution (VRS) selected by the Agency.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation (BI).

Responsibilities:

• Compile, edit and disseminate body-worn camera footage to support incident response efforts, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to legal standard.
• Access DEA databases to ensure that recorded footage has been properly documented and categorized within the VRS and DEA databases.
• Categorize each Body Worn Camera (BWC) video to ensure the evidence maintains the VRS according to the appropriate retention schedule.
• Evaluate each piece of evidence and determine whether the evidence needs to be elevated for further review by a BWC Chief.
• Provide training to DEA and task force personnel on policies and procedures during BWC Onboarding Training.
• Assist and provide feedback on technology trends to meet collections requirements supporting the DEA mission.

Qualifications:

• H.S. Diploma or above
• Proven proficiency in using industry-standard video editing software
• Candidates should be adept at editing raw footage, enhancing visual clarity, and producing high-quality videos that effectively communicate critical information.
• Strong technological background: easily learning and adapting to new computerized systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the use of DEA mission systems.
• Familiarity with Axon products/services or similar
• Experience handling and analyzing CCTV footage to extract pertinent information effectively
• Experience in managing unclassified projects
