VFX Recruiter

As a VFX Recruiter at Black Kite Studios, you will find and hire the best possible talent! You will recruit for a range of roles and will manage the process from drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, headhunting, organising and attending interviews, providing feedback and follow up to candidates and staff, as well as preparing and making offers. You will ensure that we build a truly diverse team of talent. You will make sure that the talent we hire is well supported and integrated into the team.

You will proactively build a network of talent for the future by headhunting and continuously mapping out potential talent in the industry. You will attend road shows & events and will support the Head of Talent Management with our Academic Outreach activities. You will be an ambassador for Black Kite Studios!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• End to end management of the recruitment process.
• Drafting job descriptions, headhunting, screening candidates, organising and attending interviews, providing feedback and updates to candidates and staff, as well as making job offers, negotiating as needed.
• Ensure we provide an excellent experience to all candidates, including those who are not necessarily being hired.
• Develop strong working relationships with all HOD’s, to understand the needs of their teams and how we can best support them with our Recruitment / Talent efforts.
• Write and prepare job descriptions & adverts, with input from relevant HOD’s / Managers.
• Screen candidates, assessing suitability for the role, expectations, and availability.
• Coordinate, attend and support the interview process, making sure that everyone involved is well prepared.
• Update and maintain our ATS, providing training to the wider team when needed.
• University relations and academic outreach; work with the Head of Talent Management to build and develop meaningful relationships with universities and colleges, establishing us as an employer of choice for the most exciting junior talent.
• Talent mapping: track where great talent is working, who is producing great work and being aware of talent in the Advertising VFX industry generally.
• Supporting the Scheduling team with sourcing freelance artists as needed.
• Proactively looking for ways to improve our DE&I.

ABOUT YOU

• You have previous experience working in Recruitment or Talent within the VFX industry.
• You care about finding great talent & you understand the VFX talent landscape.
• You want to provide an excellent experience to candidates and colleagues at all times.
• You are proactive, highly organised & have great attention to detail.
• You understand employment law basics relating to recruitment and talent acquisition.
• You understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
• You are a champion for DE&I.
• You have a can-do attitude & thrive when working on multiple roles and projects at the same time.
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• You love working as part of a close-knit team but are equally comfortable and capable of working alone.
• Knowledge of the Advertising / Commercials landscape generally would be a plus.
