Woodward Camps is seeking a highly skilled and energetiv Videographer to join our team. This position will be responsible for capturing the adrenaline-pumping action and dynamic movements of various sports offered at Woodward Camps.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled videographer to caputre the essence of action sports and share the thrills of the Woodward Camps experience with the world. This role allows you to combine your passion for videography with your knowledge of action sports, playing a vital role in promoting Woodward Camps and inspiring young athletes.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Photograph high-quality action shots of campers participating in various sports like skateboarding BMX, Scooter, Parkour and more.
  • Utilize a variety of camera techniques (panning, freezing motion, creative angles) to depict the athleticism, skill, and adrenaline-pumping moments of the sports.
  • Work effectively in fast-paced environments, adapting to diverse shooting conditions and capturing the peak of the action.
  • Capture high-quality photos and videos following creative direction and shot lists.
  • Document the broader camp experience, including interactions with coaches, behind-the-scenes moments, and the overall atmosphere of Woodward Camps.
  • Utilize professional photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom) to enhance the visual impact of the photographs.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS

  • Bacherlor’s degree in Photography for a related field, or a minimum 3 years of proven experiences as a professional photographer.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a talent for capturing dynamic action shots and portraying compelling narratives through photography.
  • Proficiency in professional camera equipment and a solid understanding of lighting principles.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environments and adapting to diverse shooting conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with camp staff and athletes.
  • A passion for action sports and an appreciation for the unique stories unfolding at Woodward Camps.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Familiarity with action sports photography techniques is a plus.

BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
  • Must be comfortable working in an indoor and outdoor all-season environment.
  • Camp Attendance Requirements:Summer Camp Season (June 7th- August 24th)
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
