Job Title: Video Editor/ Graphic Designer II

Client: Heavy Machine Manufacturing Company

Duration: 1 Year with possible extension

Location: East Moline IL 61244

Shift: 1st shift

Description:

Major Purpose:

• Designs and develops advertising materials for a global customer segment.
• Acts as primary contact with factory marketing to lead and direct communication efforts for their assigned segment.

Major Duties:

• Develops company publications including layouts, mock-ups, and final files.
• Directs and monitors graphic suppliers including pre-media, printers, illustrators, and contracted agencies.
• Stays updated with current design and production options, ensuring efficiency, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness while meeting company standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Elevate and differentiate the Company brand through storytelling.
• Create and edit assets to promote equipment and enhance brand legacy.
• Collaborate with internal clients, stakeholders, and outside agency partners.
• Assist in curating and cataloging clips for the internal JD Stock video library.
• Occasionally assist in-studio and in-field video shoots.

Major Duties:

• Editing video (70%)
• Assisting video shoots, in-studio and in-field (20%)
• Studio assistance (10%)

Skills Required:

• 5-7 years of video editing experience
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop/Illustrator)
• Experience with professional cinema camera equipment
• Proficiency in Mac OS and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic audio editing skills
• Physically capable of demanding tasks
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Travel up to 10% of the time
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Portfolio/demo edit reel required

Education:

• Four-year University Degree or equivalent work experience in related field
