*Join Our Team as a Full-Time Project Manager in the York Region, Ontario! **About Us:*Convertus Group is a pioneering full-cycle service provider dedicated to the treatment and processing of organic waste. We collaborate with communities worldwide to design, construct, operate, and maintain cutting-edge organic waste treatment facilities. As a group, we process over 580,000 tonnes of residential organic waste annually and have built over 150 waste treatment facilities worldwide. Our operations encompass 11 organic waste processing facilities in Canada and 2 in the United States, including our recently acquired Manassas, Virginia facility. Be a part of our groundbreaking journey!*Your Mission:*The Project Manager plays a crucial role in efficiently overseeing DBO projects and assigned initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budget. Your role involves managing project timelines, enforcing contractual compliance, and supporting new business procurement and facility acquisition efforts.*Here?s what an ordinary day of work might look like:** Review project plans and schedules for DBO projects, highlighting key tasks and deadlines.* Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of DBO projects, including civil, electrical, and process-related works.* Keep the company website up to date with content that mirrors our mission, values, and growth, following SEO best practices.* Monitor project progress closely, proactively identifying and addressing any budget, planning, or quality issues that may arise.* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and conducting monthly meetings to review project status and address any concerns.* Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, calculations, permits, and manuals, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual requirements.* Update cash flow projections, review project-related invoices, and prepare progress reports for management, highlighting financial updates, schedule deviations, and risk assessments.*This job is for you if:** You hold a bachelor?s degree in engineering, electrical/ mechanical preferred. A construction-related degree would be an asset.* You have experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects – it is required.* You have 5-7 years of experience in project management, financial and contract management ? it is required.* Minimum 5 years of experience in process installations.* You have a strong understanding of various forms of Canadian construction contracts (CCDC) and a general understanding of construction law and legislation.* You have experience in setting up and maintenance of the project administration (costing, scheduling, quality, safety, and loss control program).* You hold a valid Driver’s License.* IPD contract experience would be an asset.*Come to Join Us in Shaping the Future. *If you’re eager to contribute to our success and shape our story, this is your moment!
