Full job description
We are looking for a talented videographer / photographer to capture and create compelling content for the brand to utilize for paid ads, organic social media, website and marketing collateral. Primary goal will be to develop quality video content, with photography being secondary.
The ideal candidate is a storyteller at heart – both visually and narratively, who can capture and edit on-brand content. The content developed should be compelling, engaging and intriguing to tell our brand story, educate and drive customer interest in the brand in ads, on social media and on the website. This role requires you to work on multiple projects at once with the ability to manage them yourself while never compromising the level of creativity.
Videographer / photographer should also have strong editor experience. Position involves traveling, producing, and editing videos. A typical day in this role includes communicating (remotely) with the marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders.
Looking for someone that can work alongside the marketing team to create content to support marketing strategies and campaigns, but is also a self starter and able to independently plan and capture strong content.
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality video and photo content for ads, social media, website, blogs, marketing assets, etc.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts and shot lists and capture content
- Travel to various identified sites to capture footage & stories.
- Conduct interviews with staff, participants, community partners, and liaisons.
- Utilize journalistic storytelling techniques to find and develop stories on the spot.
- Edit video assets to extract engaging and informative stories
- Work with various teams and individuals to independently manage production.
- Deliver high-quality videos, sometimes, under tight deadlines
- Bring innovative ideas and concepts to keep channels relevant, informative and entertaining.
- Edit photos and videos to ensure they meet brand standards and guidelines
- Organize and archive photo and video assets
- Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices on social media platforms
- Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines and maintain a consistent content schedule
- Able to take and interpret requests and find a compelling, on-brand way to capture and bring to life

Skills and Qualifications
- Experience with content capture and editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, with the ability to utilize these tools on-the-go
- Plus if you have experience in content creation the medical space as well as lifestyle
- Proficiency in photography and videography equipment and techniques
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
Physical And Travel Requirements
- This is a remote role, but ideal candidate will be driving distance from: Orange County or San Diego, CA, Austin or Dallas, TX, or Miami or Fort Lauderdale, FL.
- This role requires up to 50% travel requirements. Length of travel will depend upon creative requirements, staff needs, and company initiatives.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
