Full job description
As an E-commerce Videographer, you create visually appealing, engaging, and effective video content for online platforms, ensuring a cohesive and engaging brand presence. You will collaborate with marketing teams, web developers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality visual assets that enhance the overall user experience and drive online sales.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, shoot, and edit videos that showcase various products, highlighting features, benefits, and usage.
- Collaborate with the creative category/marketing teams to develop scripts and storyboards that align with the brand’s identity and marketing objectives.
- Oversee and maintain video equipment, ensuring that cameras, lighting, and audio equipment are in optimal condition for each shoot.
- Edit and enhance video footage, create graphics, and add music and other elements to create polished and professional final assets.
- Work closely with the product marketing team, photographers, and other creative professionals to ensure consistency in visual content across different channels.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in videography and eCommerce to continually improve and innovate video content.
- Maintain high standards for video quality, ensuring the final output aligns with brand guidelines and meets customer expectations.
- Be adaptable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced eCommerce environment, meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an eCommerce videographer or a similar role with a strong portfolio of previous work. A degree in videography or film production is preferred.
- Proficiency in video-editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro), knowledge of camera equipment, lighting techniques, and audio recording.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills to convey product narratives effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure the highest quality in video production.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A portfolio showcasing previous eCommerce video projects and demonstrating a range of styles and capabilities.
- Practical time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks efficiently.
